BoB Advokater is run by Bo Berndtsson, a lawyer with extensive experience of providing qualified business law advice to companies, management teams and boards. During his career as in-house counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and outside counsel, Bo has worked closely with businesses across several different industries, with a particular focus on risk management, business ethics and compliance, as well as business law matters such as corporate law and corporate governance, M&A and contractual matters.

BoB Advokater is an independent boutique law firm offering senior and personal advice in complex and often sensitive situations – while also providing practical and hands-on advice in key areas of business law. The firm combines solid legal expertise with a strong understanding of business and experience of the realities of large corporations. This makes it possible to offer flexible arrangements, ranging from ongoing advice to more structured and long-term collaborations.

BoB Advokater is founded and led by Bo Berndtsson, a lawyer with extensive experience of complex assignments for larger companies, management teams and boards.

Bo has a broad background in business law, with experience of corporate matters such as corporate governance and M&A in multinational companies. Building on this foundation, he has over the past 15 years had a clear focus on business ethics, compliance and internal investigations – first in his role as Chief Compliance Officer at the Volvo Group and subsequently as a lawyer at Setterwalls, primarily advising multinational companies.

Bo’s way of working is characterised by a combination of legal expertise and a practical understanding of business realities. He is accustomed to acting as a sounding board in difficult assessments and helps clients develop solutions that are legally sound, commercially reasonable and sustainable over time.
